The solution covers the entire transaction and monitoring process, from the terminal itself to transaction and service management, via IP and GPRS connectivity. The unattended solution also encompasses MasterCard PayPass and Visa PayWave contactless terminal – Vending Pass. Connectivity is provided via a secure worldwide IP network - which is certified by banks and boasts an availability factor of 99.95% - or via a wireless GPRS network, for which Ingenico is the alternative operator in more than 100 countries.
Ingenico’s unattended payment terminals are all EMV and PCI-PED approved. Its industry proven High Secure Core (HSC) supports powerful encryption (including RSA, DES and 3DES) to provide the assurance of secure data and application management. Each vending machine contains a ‘black box’ gateway, connected to a hosted secured server, which records every transaction and provides a connection to the network. This server function enables the operator to monitor activities and respond to events as necessary, rather than on a routine basis, ensuring the greatest efficiency of vending machine management.
